Home > Overview of animations > Geometric relationships on the triangle
The interactive animation represents the essential geometric relationships on a triangle.
The vertices of the triangle can be moved interactively with the mouse. All the elements shown are continuously adapted in real time.
The animation was developed as a offline application for Windows and Macintosh systems and for integration into Microsoft PowerPoint slides. The online version presented here serves as a preview. The exe or app file can be downloaded free of charge in the member area.
The downloaded file can be included in PowerPoint.
The hypothenuse is always shown in red. The height of a triangle lies at a right angle on the hypothenuse and runs to the opposite point of the hypothenuse. The hypothenuse is shown in the animation in blue color.
It is very easy to create a rightangled triangle. To do so, drag the vertices of the triangle to the edges of the display area.
