Home > Overview of animations > Geometric relationships on a triangle
The interactive animation illustrates essential geometric relationships on a triangle.
The vertices (corner points) of the triangle can be moved with the mouse. All the elements shown are adapted in real time.
The animation was originally developed as a offline application for Windows and Macintosh systems and for integration into Microsoft PowerPoint slides. The online version presented here serve as a preview. The exe or app file can be downloaded free of charge from members area.
The hypothenuse is always shown in red. The height of a triangle is rectangular to the hypothenuse. The hypothenuse is shown in blue color.
It is very easy to create a rightangled triangle. To do so, drag the vertices of the triangle to the edges of the display area.
